Description

We’re looking for someone who understands photography… and more importantly, people. Being an account manager means you’ll work with all departments at Richard, from customer service to marketing to production, to make sure some of Richard’s biggest clients are getting everything they need to stay Richard’s biggest clients. You’ll be checking in with photographers to discuss how things are going with their life, livelihood, and the lab—and to explore new ways that Richard can be their go-to for the products & services their business needs. That means providing solutions and encouraging growth!

Responsibilities
  • Manage the relationship of the company and its key clients
  • Maintain long term customers and create new long-term relationships with new customers
  • Successfully onboard new clients
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Client/Company needs and standards
  • Resolves complaints, issues and problems faced by the customer
  • Prepare regular reports of progress, trends, and forecast
Requirements
  • Ability to problem solve and develop solutions that are mutually beneficial.
  • Experience in sales, hospitality, client engagement, hosting or restaurant management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude for building relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and self-management skills.

You’ll make sure that everything, from film developing to film scanning to image printing, meets the top-notch standards that Richard is known for. Grab your whistle, because coaching the film production team to consistently understand our client’s expectations and meet our promised turnaround times is a big part of the gig! But you’re not just a coach—you’re part of the team, working closely with management on day-to-day production operations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring products are produced on time while meeting or exceeding quality expectations
  • Generating and reviewing daily incoming volume data and conducting physical observation of orders in each department to gauge needs for meeting daily goals
  • Monitoring production workflows and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Supervising staff to maintain correct procedures and quality standards
  • Coaching and training staff
  • Conducting quarterly and annual employee evaluations
  • Work with management to establish and enforce performance metrics, monitoring individual performance, output, and quality
  • Employee scheduling
Requirements
  • Experience as a Production Supervisor
  • Ability to identify and diagnose issue and provide root cause analysis
  • Ability to supervise, and assist with developing and mentoring a team
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

Description

We’re looking for the eye of the tiger… if the tiger was really good at color correction. You’ll be at the heart of what Richard is known for: impeccable film scans. For this position, (figurative) juggling skills are a must because you’re responsible for fulfillment of various orders on multiple machines all while meeting deadlines. Though, actual juggling skills are cool, too.

Do you love crossing things off a to-do list? Are you always prepared, boy-scout style? Are you a little artistic and a lot meticulous? Can you put the pedal to the metal? Are you rarely bored because there’s always more to do? Then you may be just the person we’re looking for…

Responsibilities
  • Digitize and correct 120, 220, and 35mm film negatives using photography software
  • Ensure orders are complete as dictated by the work orders
  • Meet order deadlines and quality standards
  • Thoroughly inspect photographic frames while perfecting aesthetics and colors
Requirements
  • Experience in production, printing, and handling photographic prints is preferred
  • Film experience and knowledge is preferred
  • Impeccable eye for minute distinctions in color
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to work quickly without compromising quality
  • Self-motivated with positive energy and good communication skills
  • Noritsu and Frontier experience is a bonus!
